When Tocaloma was founded in 1945, there was one goal: to offer the finest day camp possible. In reaching for that goal, a more nurturing and challenging experience has evolved. One that allows for individual differences in ability and enjoyment and still remains true to values of fair play, adventure, and mutual respect and friendship.

We continually strive to provide enthusiastic, outgoing and mature staff. More important than the beauty of our exclusive site and more valuable than our varied program is our fun and caring staff. The goal of each staff member is to promote the success of each camper. Staff training is comprehensive and includes workshops in developmentally appropriate activities and instruction, facilitating friendships, role playing, conflict resolution techniques and group dynamics.
